Welcome to Chip & Cell
2026-08-30
Korea exports two things the rest of the world’s technology stack cannot run without: memory chips and battery cells. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix supply a large share of global DRAM and NAND; LG Energy Solution, Samsung SDI and SK On build the cells inside EVs and grid storage across three continents. Around those giants sits a deep bench of KOSPI and KOSDAQ equipment, materials and test companies that rarely gets covered in English.
Chip & Cell covers exactly that — and nothing else.
What you’ll find here
Data pages, refreshed daily. Every one of our 27 covered stocks has a fixed page showing price, moving averages, 52-week position, returns and (when available) foreign and institutional flows. The pages update automatically after each Seoul close. Same URL every day — bookmark them.
Deep dives. One name at a time: what moved, what the flows say, and where the stock sits inside its sector. On days when a covered name moves sharply, it jumps the queue.
Weekly reviews. Every Friday we wrap up the week across both sectors: winners, losers, and how the KOSPI and KOSDAQ backdrop shifted.
How to read this site
Start with the semiconductor and battery sector tables — they rank all covered names by 20-day return. Colors follow the Korean convention (red up, blue down); definitions live on the methodology page.
Nothing here is investment advice. We publish data and analysis so you can do your own work — always verify against primary sources before acting.
