Where the numbers come from, and how they fail

Stock pages are refreshed by an automated pipeline after each Seoul session close, using KRX market data and public company filings. Automated pipelines fail in specific ways: a feed goes stale and yesterday's close is shown as today's; a ticker is reorganised after a split or merger and history breaks; a filing is restated after we have already published from the first version. We correct what we catch, but we cannot promise the figure in front of you is right. Always check a primary source before acting.

Model-assisted writing

Deep dives and weekly reviews are drafted with model assistance on top of the collected data, then reviewed before publishing. Review catches most errors, not all of them. Treat our interpretation as one reading of the data, not as fact. The methodology page sets out what is computed and what is inferred.

Forward-looking statements

Anything about future demand, capacity, pricing or margins is opinion about an unknown future, not a forecast you should rely on. Semiconductor and battery cycles in particular turn faster than most coverage of them.

No compensation from covered companies
